Game of Thrones won by a landslide (of six and a half votes to a half - cheers Hol for making my counting difficult), so I have now watched the first episode.

And not to make too many comments because for heaven’s sake it’s only television, but

1. Had it in my head it was a Merlin-esque sort of show; y’know, no swearing, no sex, no blood.
2. Boy did I get that wrong.
3. Hello boobs.
4. I’m pro-Game of Thrones, I reckon.

Also their puppy-wolf-things are just beyond adorable.
